Route 62 - the longest wine route in the world - is also known and well-loved for its many wine estates pitstops along the road... many of which lie in the Breede River Wine Route or Robertson Wine Valley. Nestled between the Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountain ranges, this wine route offers a landscape of flower fringed roads, majestic mountains and world-class wines. Although these estates are not as old or as grand as those of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, the wine is often every bit as good. And most often more affordable! Graham Beck, Nuy and Zandvliet, Viljoensdrift and Van Loveren wine estates are some of the must-visit estates on the route, and the list goes on... Cheers!
